GDC Drass observes National Constitution Day.
Kargil, Nov 26, 2024: GDC Drass today observed National Constitution Day to honor the adoption of the Indian constitution and celebrate the responsibilities as citizens.
The event commenced with the mass reading of the Preamble of the Indian Constitution, by the students and the faculty of the college. The entire College reaffirmed its commitment to the Indian Constitution by taking the pledge.
While addressing the students, Principal Dr. Amjad Ali Abassi emphasized the significance of the Indian Constitution. He described it as an inclusive document that safeguards the political, social, religious, and legal rights of all citizens. Dr. Abassi elaborated on the meaning of the Preamble and highlighted its importance in shaping policies. He urged both students and faculty to uphold the Constitution and reaffirm their commitment to the nation’s progress.
