GDC Zanskar flags off students for week-long educational tour to Nubra.
Kargil, Sept 23, 2024: Government Degree College Zanskar today flagged off 5th Semester students for a week-long educational tour to Nubra valley.
Principal GDC Zanskar, Mohd Ishaq along with staff of the college flagged off the tour from the college premises. The tour aims to enrich students’ learning experiences and deepen their understanding of cultural, geographical and historical aspects of the region through practical exposure.
The students will also have an opportunity to visit HIAL, Leh Palace, museum, DIHAR Leh and many other sites rich in historical and cultural importance.
The tour program would be supervised by Dr Abid Hussain, Assistant Professor Zoology; Dr Syed Waqir, Faculty History and Thupstan Dolkar faculty Environmental Science.
The college administration believes that the tour will provide significant benefits to the students, enhancing not only their academic knowledge but also contributing to their personal and professional development.
The experience is expected to foster overall growth, offering students valuable exposure to new environments, cultures, and practical learning opportunities that extend beyond the classroom.
