GHS Bodhkharboo represents Ladakh with pride at National Zonal Level School Pipe Band Competition in Lucknow.

Kargil, Dec 07, 2024: Students of Government High School Bodhkharbo, Kargil, brought immense pride to Ladakh as they showcased an exceptional performance in the National Zonal Level School Pipe Band Competition held in Lucknow today.
Representing Ladakh, the students captivated the audience, jury members, and dignitaries with their mesmerizing pipe band display, demonstrating their hard work, dedication, and talent.
The Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh personally commended the students for their outstanding performance, highlighting their professionalism and skill. Despite their remarkable display, the Ladakhi contingent could not advance to the final competition in Delhi due to technical grounds. The regulations required the team to consist solely of either boys or girls, whereas the Ladakh contingent comprised both boys and girls.
Recognizing the students’ talent and effort, the organizers honored them by inviting them to perform once again during the closing ceremony. Their performance received widespread applause from an esteemed audience, including a galaxy of military and civil officers and dignitaries present at the event.
The higher authorities extended their heartfelt congratulations to the students for delivering a display that rivalled professional pipe band performances. The school administration deserves special mention for their relentless efforts in training the students and coordinating their travel and logistics from Leh to Lucknow.
This competition has not only highlighted the extraordinary potential of Ladakhi students but also filled them with encouragement and motivation through the unexpected appreciation and acknowledgment they received from all present.
