GHSS Diskit organises anti-drugs sensitization prog.

Leh, May 20: Govt Higher Secondary School, Diskit Nubra organised an Anti-Drugs Sensitisation Programme initiated with a Signature Campaign for 7km Cross Country Run under Annual Pedagogical School Plan 2023.
Vice Principal, GHSS, Diskit, Sabiha Saif flagged-off the run which commenced from GHSS Diskit Tsogstot to Hunder Sand dunes.
Speaking on the topic of anti-drugs awareness, Vice Principal, GHSS Diskit and guest speaker Major Rajat from Indian Army (Artillery) shared about the harmful effects of drug abuse and urged the students and youths to say no to drugs.
In the 7km Cross Country Run, Jigmat Wangpo, Tsewang Namagyal and Stanzin Thinles secured 1st, 2nd and 3rd position respectively in the boys category.
In the girls category, Phuntsog Chosdon secured 1st position, Zatsal Dolkar 2nd position and Laskit Wangmo 3rd position.
Later, prizes were also distributed among the position holders.
