Hon’ble Lt Governor, Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) virtually attends Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024.

Leh, Jan 29, 2024: The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) virtually attended the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi interaction with the students and teachers during 7th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha 2024 at Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat. The 7th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha was held at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi, where the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi interacted with students, teachers and parents.
Pariksha Pe Charcha, an annual event that discussed various aspects of the education system, its changes and examination day burden on students. Pariksha Pe Charcha is a movement driven by the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi’s effort to bring together students, teachers, parents and society to foster an environment where each child’s unique individuality is celebrated, encouraged and allowed to express itself fully.
Advisor to HLG, Dr Pawan Kotwal, IAS; Deputy Chairman, LAHDC, Leh, Shri Tsering Angchuk; Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Kargil, Shri Zakir Hussain; ADGP, Ladakh, Shri SD Singh Jamwal, IPS; Secretary to HLG, Shri Ravinder Kumar, IAS; Director of School Education, Ladakh, Tsering Paldan, Chief Education Officer, Kargil and Leh besides teachers and students of different government schools of Leh and Kargil joined the live session.
The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor also interacted with 20 students from Tangtse, Tsaga and Chushul who are going on a National Integration Tour organized by 8 JAKLI as a part of Operation Sadbhavana.
The students will visit Delhi, and Agra during the National Integration Tour. The students’ group comprises 13 boys and 07 girls and also two teachers.
The Army officials informed the HLG that these students from Tangtse, Tsaga and Chuchul are travelling outside Ladakh to see the rest of India for the first time. They also informed that the objective of the Tour is to provide exposure to them through first-hand experience of different cultures, traditions and technological and development advancement across India to encourage them to focus on their studies and contribute towards national building in future.
Appreciating the conducting team for organising the tour, the HLG stated that such tours should be organised to other parts of the country at regular intervals to inculcate the spirit of national integration among students.
