Hon’ble Lt Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) virtually participates in 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha.

Leh, Feb 10, 2025: The Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) along with students from different government schools of Ladakh and officials from the Education Department participated in the 8th edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha, an initiative of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, at the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat.
With examination often a source of stress for students and their families, Pariksha Pe Charcha serves as an interactive platform where the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India directly engages with students, teachers and parents, with each edition of Pariksha Pe Charcha highlighting innovative approaches to tackle exam-related anxiety and fostering a celebratory attitude towards learning and life.
Addressing the students, the HLG highlighted the sincerity and transparency with which the Hon’ble Prime Minister, Shri Narendra Modi, interacted with students from different parts of the country and cleared their doubts about facing the board exams. He also highlighted the practical solutions the Hon’ble Prime Minister provided to students to allay their fears of facing the board exams as students often find it hard to talk about exam-related anxiety with their parents. He further highlighted the encouragement and motivation given by the Hon’ble Prime Minister to face the exams confidently.
Sharing anecdotes of his meetings with the Hon’ble Prime Minister, the HLG asked the students to learn positivity and nation-first sentiment from the Hon’ble Prime Minister. He also asked them to take notes of the practical solutions given by the Hon’ble Prime Minister for a positive outlook towards life to benefit themselves and their family members.
The HLG also inquired about the directions passed to the Principals/Headmasters of schools in Ladakh regarding setting up anti-drug squads to tackle drug menace in society. Calling children the future of society who will take the nation forward, the HLG highlighted the need to keep them away from drugs/substance abuse. He also asked the students to inform the school authorities if they come across instances of other students indulging in drugs/substance abuse.
The HLG also answered the queries posed by students to face board exams confidently and excel in studies and life. He also distributed Exam Warriors- a book authored by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi among the students.
Earlier, Diskit Angmo, a student of Government School Saspol, gave a brief introduction to the Pariksha Pe Charcha programme.
Secretary, School Education, Bhanu Prabha, IAS; Chief Education Officer, Leh, Sonam Wangchuk; Principal, DIET Leh, Deldan Angmo; lecturers, students and officials from different Government High Schools of Leh were present in the event.
