Kargil, March 25, 2025: In a commendable initiative to enhance healthcare accessibility, the Indian Army, in collaboration with Sub District Hospital Drass and with the support of PM Shri Govt. High School Thasgam conducted a free medical camp today for residents of Thasgam and its adjoining villages.
A team of medical professionals provided consultations and treatment to the attendees. The panel included Dr. Joseph Daniel (Orthopedic Specialist), Captain Dr. Sheikh Abass (AMC), Dr. Shehnaz Anjum, and Anjum Sehr from the Sub District Hospital Drass.
The camp witnessed significant participation, with senior citizens, women, and children availing themselves of complimentary medical check-ups and essential medicines.
The initiative reflects a collective commitment to public health and well-being, ensuring that quality healthcare reaches underserved communities.
