ITBP organizes mega river rafting expedition at Zanskar

KARGIL, AUGUST 09, 2021: Inspector General (IG) Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) Lhari Dorje Lhatoo flagged off mega river rafting expedition at Zanskar here today.
On the occasion, Councilor Cha Constituency Stanzin Lakpa, SDM Zanskar Sonam Dorjay, DIG ITBP, Commanding Officer ITBP, Officer Commanding GREF Army Camp Padum and other officers were present.
The three days rafting spanning 155 kms began from Pibiting Bridge that will be conclude at Nimu Leh.
Meanwhile, the ITBP organized archery and volley ball friendly matches followed by cultural programmes at Lamdon Model High School Ufti.
Earlier, the local administration accorded warm traditional welcome to the IG ITBP and his team.
