    Justice Rabstan visits District Court Leh, inspects all 3 courts

    Leh, July 19: Justice Tashi Rabstan, Judge, Common High Court of UTs of J&K and Ladakh, who is also the Administrative Judge Leh, today visited the District Court Complex in Leh.
    He was accorded the ceremonial guard of honour. Justice Rabstan inspected all the three courts- the Principal District and Sessions Court, Chief Judicial Magistrate Court and the Court of Special Mobile Magistrate during the visit. He also visited and took stock of the functioning of the newly-inaugurated e-Seva Kendra and Vidhik Seva Kendra. A case pending before the Jammu Bench of the High Court was successfully filed and the next date of hearing was conveyed through the e-Seva Kendra. He impressed upon the advocates to take full advantage of these Kendras in filing cases before the High Court.
    He interacted with the judicial officers of Leh district and the members of the Bar Association, Leh. He assured to address the grievances of the Bar members. Justice Rabstan discussed various issues, including the creation of a separate cadre for the subordinate judiciary for Ladakh, creation of consumer forum, an anti-corruption and family court at Ladakh, creation of directorate of prosecution, creation of munsiff court in Changthang, the appointment of law secretary from judicial officers on deputation basis, sanction of additional funds for high court guest house at Leh and accommodation for non-local court employees.
    Principal District & Sessions Judge, Leh, Deepak Sethi; Chief Judicial Magistrate, Leh, Spalzes Angmo; Special Mobile Magistrate, Leh, Phustog Angmo; Special Mobile Magistrate Leh; Munsiff Nobra, Wangyal Tsering; Munsiff Khaltsi, Chhemit Yourgyal; President, Bar Association Leh, Mohammad Shafi and members of the Bar and staff members were present during Justice Rabtsan’s visit.
    Later, Justice Rabstan met with Advisor Umang Narula, Commissioner Secretary Ajeet Kumar Sahu, Divisional Commissioner Saugat Biswas, Secretary Preet Pal Singh and Principal Secretary to the Chief Justice of High Court of Jammu & Kashmir & Ladakh Rajeev Gupta.
