KVK Leh organises Kisan Mela in Panamik

Leh, Aug 24: Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), SKUAST-K, Leh, organised a Kisan Mela in Panamik village of Nubra sub-division under the guidance of Head, KVK Leh, Dr Feroz Din Sheikh.
Executive Councillor (EC), Agriculture, LAHDC Leh, Stanzin Chosphel and EC Horticulture, LAHDC Leh, Ghulam Mehdi, were the chief guests during the event.
Vice-Chancellor, SKUAST-K, Professor JP Sharma, was present as guest of honour. Director Extension, SKUAST-K, Professor Dil Mohammad Makhdoomi, chaired the event.
Products of farmers, farmer’s organisations and producer groups from different villages were displayed in 20 stalls during the Kisan Mela. Farmers were awarded for their products and various publications were released during the occasion.
Councillor Panamik, Tsering Sangdup, Block Development Council (BDC) members, sarpanch and panches participated in the Kisan Mela.
