Ladakh Police organizes debate, quiz competition under “Awareness Campaign on Drug/Nasha Mukti” at HSS Drass.
Kargil, September 28, 2024: The Ladakh Police, under the supervision of SHO Drass, S.W. Namgiyal, organized a debate and quiz program titled “Awareness Campaign on Drug/Nasha Mukti” at the premises of Higher Secondary School, Drass.
Students from various high schools and higher secondary schools participated in the event. Three students from each school delivered speeches highlighting the detrimental effects of drug abuse on individuals and society.
In her address to the gathering, the Principal of Higher Secondary School Drass emphasized the importance of staying away from harmful substances, especially in today’s competitive environment. She warned that while some might start using drugs out of curiosity or for fun, it quickly leads to addiction, devastating not only the individual’s life but also the fabric of society.
The program concluded with the distribution of certificates to all participants.
