    Kargil, Dec 11, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟑: To combat gender-based violence and promote gender equality, the Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission has launched the Nayi Chetna 2.0 National Campaign against Gender based Violence in collaboration with various government departments.
    Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission, Kargil organized a pledge-taking activity in collaboration with the DLSA, Women and Child Development Department, Education Department, PRI Members and ICDS Department on December 10.
    The event saw participation from District Legal Service Authority Advocate Khadim Hussian (Counsellor, Baroo and Minjee Constituency) as a Chief Guest, Sr. Advocate Haji Ghulam Murtaza, Advocate Nissar Hussain and volunteer from DLSA, ANM, ASHA and Anganwadi Worker and Sarpanch Gongma Minjee Ali Naqi and Sarpanch Minjee Fatima Banoo, and key personnel from Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission, including Abhishek Kumar (District Mission Manager Kargil) Sunil Kumar Sharma (Block Programme Manager Kargil), Hasina Banoo (Cluster Coordinator) and Community Mobilizer.
    The campaign, spanning across Kargil district, brings together key stakeholders such as the Women and Child Development, District Legal Service Authority, National Health Mission, and Higher Education Department.
    It was organized in different blocks of Kargil district and involving multiple departments, the Gender Sensitization activities aim to address deep-rooted gender disparities and empower women across the nation. The concerted efforts of these departments seek to create awareness, promote inclusivity, and foster a society that is free from gender-based violence.
    Nayi Chetna 2.0 National Campaign against Gender based Violence stands as a beacon of hope for positive change, inspiring communities to come together and actively participate in creating a more equitable and just society.
