MEIGS organizes competition on Standup Comedy, storytelling, stage acting at GHS Hagnis.

Kargil, Sep 16, 2023: Movement for Education Improvement in Government Schools (MEIGS) today organized a stand-up comedy, storytelling and stage acting competition at Government High School Hagnis.
Students from all Pilot Basis Government Schools of Shakar Chiktan participated in the competition.
On the occasion SDM Sharkar Chiktan (Chairman MEIGS), Abdul Gaffar Zargar was the chief guest and ZEO Shakar Chiktan, Mohd Ibrahim Karpo (Gen. Sec. MEIGS) was the guest of honour. Headmaster GHS Hagnis, Ghulam Ali, parents, teachers, senior citizen of Hagnis, and VECs were also present on the occasion. Rigzia Namgyal Principal HSS Shakar and M. A. Khan Ex. principal were the judges.
The SDM expressed appreciation for the program and offered commitment to provide any necessary assistance to enhance the educational sector in the region.
He emphasized that such initiatives play a pivotal role in enhancing students’ overall performance and contribute to shaping them into well-rounded citizens with knowledge spanning various sectors.
Furthermore, the SDM emphasized the importance of expanding such programs to encompass a wide range of diverse topics. They also highlighted the noble nature of ensuring the voluntary participation of individuals in these initiatives.
