    MoS Cooperation & DONER B.L. Verma attends Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra at Nimmo.

    Leh, Nov 30, 2023: To ensure saturation of flagship schemes of the government, Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp was organised today at Gram Panchayat, Nimoo.
    Hon’ble Minister of State for Cooperation & DONER, GoI, B.L. Verma attended the program as chief guest.
    Member Parliament of Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal; Deputy Commissioner/CEO, LAHDC, Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve; Nominated Councillor Dr. Yangchen Dolma; ADDC, Leh Sonam Norbo; BDO, Nimo; Sarpanch, Nimo; Panches, Nimo; Nambarder, Nimoo; Goba, district officers and officials of different departments were present at the camp.
    MoS, B.L. Verma was received by DC Leh and local representatives in the presence of locals of Nimoo with traditional welcome with khathak.
    MoS, B.L. Verma inspected the stalls set up by various departments like, J&K Bank, Health, Social and Tribal Welfare, Education Department, Revenue, Self Help Groups, and other line departments.
    Ayushman Card Generation counter was also set up and Ayushman Bharat Cards were also issued to beneficiaries. Aadhar Camp was also set up. On spot services were, Health Camps (TB Screening, sickle cell anemia screening), PM Ujwala new enrolment and biometric authentication, MY Bharat volunteer enrolment.
    Live message by Hon’ble Prime Minister was screened. Prime Minister, Narendra Modi interacted with beneficiaries of the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra via video conferencing. He interacted with beneficiaries from Deoghar in Jharkhand, Raigarha in Odisha, Prakasam in Andhra Pradesh, Namsai in Arunachal Pradesh, and Arnia in Jammu and Kashmir.
    DC, Leh presented the welcome address. He spoke about overview of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and action plan in Leh district. He mentioned that the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra is being organised in every Panchayat Halqa of Leh district. He added that 25 Panchayat Halqa has been covered out of 95 Panchayat Halqa in Leh district. He said that the aim of this Yatra is saturation of government schemes. He also spoke about various schemes of government including Ayushman Bharat Yojana, insurance schemes and PM Vishvakarma. He also said it takes forward the vision of Prime Minister of India to make the country developed by 2047.
    On this occasion people took pledge to make India Vikasit by 2047.
    Mos, B.L. Verma spoke of about various schemes of centre government including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojna, Ujwala Yojna, Jal Jivan Mission, Ayushman Bharat Yojana, Kisan Samman Niddhi Yojana, Gar Gar Bijli Jan Aushidi, Jan Dhan Yojana.
    He said Modi led government is committed to benefit poor and needy people across the country through various schemes. Further, added that the people have got maximum benefit from those schemes. He said that in the past nine and half years India has developed immensely under Modi government. He also said Under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra program, beneficiaries are given services and benefits of government schemes on the spot.
    MP Ladakh also briefed about the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and appealed the people to take the benefits of different welfare schemes of the government. He said the schemes of government have now reached to doorstep of every household under Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp and every one must take maximum benefits of it.
    Cultural program was also presented by the students of Government Middle School Nimoo.
    Besides, ODF Plus certificate was given to Panchyat, Nimmo by the chief guest. 4 Years of UT Ladakh Magazine presented to Panchayat, Panch and Goba of Nimoo.
    Furthermore, Property certificates were presented to beneficiaries.
