National Safety Week: Labour Dept. Kargil organizes awareness program in Batalik Sector

Kargil, March 07, 2023: In continuation with the ongoing celebration of National Safety Week, Labour Department Kargil today organized an awareness program in Silmo, Lalong areas of Batalik Sector for local labourers.

The program was organized under the supervision of Assistant Labour Commissioner (ALC), Kargil, Raziya Khatoon. During the program, the officials of the Labour Department distributed pamphlets regarding the importance of safety and health at workplaces.

Labour Inspector Amina Khatoon briefed about the celebration of National Safety Week being celebrated from March 4 to 10.

National Safety Day is observed to highlight the importance of safety in all spheres of life to prevent mishaps and accidents caused due to negligence or lack of awareness.
