Ninth phase of SEE training concludes at DIET Leh

Leh, Sept 01: The ninth phase of Social Ethical and Emotional (SEE) learning educator training organised by the District Institute of Education and Training Leh in collaboration with the Chief Education Office concluded today at DIET Leh.
Member of Parliament, Ladakh, Jamyang Tsering Namgyal was present as the chief guest of the concluding ceremony.
Speaking on the occasion, MP Ladakh stressed the need of inculcating kindness and compassion into the minds of the young learners to create a better world in future. He suggested that this training programme should be given to all the teachers, parents and heads of various departments and organisations.
He also assured to provide financial assistance to sustain the training programme further.
In this training more than 60 teachers from various government and private schools of Leh district participated. Till date more than 500 teachers from government and private schools of Leh district have been trained in the SEE Learning curriculum under SAMAGRA SHIKSHA Scheme.
Eminent scholar Dr Lobzang Tsewang; Maulana Qari Amein; HQ Assistant, CEO Office Leh, Paldan Tundup; Principal, DIET, Leh, Tsetan Dorjey; Director, International Institute for Culture and Ethics (IICE), Leh, Tashi Namgyal and Joint Director, IICE, Lobzang Wangmo were also present on the occasion.
