NRLM organizes Nayi Chetna 2.0 National Gender Campaign at Shargole.

Kargil, Dec 11: A Nayi Chetna 2.0 National Gender Campaign against Gender Based Violence was held today by Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission (LRLM) at Shargole Block District Kargil.
During the event, several government officials informed the participants about their constitution right, gender-based violence Act, child development and health and education of girl child in the local language.
The Ladakh Rural Livelihood Mission in convergence with Women and Child Development, District Legal Service Authority, National Health Mission and ICDS, is organizing gender sensitization activities in Shargole Block.
More than 50 newly formed SHG members took part in activity and learned how to create a group that would improve their own company and become more independent.
Participants also included DLSA Volunteer, ANM and ASHA, Anganwadi Worker and LRLM staff Abhishek Kumar (District Mission Manager Kargil), Rahilla Khatoon (Block Programme Manager Shargole) and Muqsooma Sadiq (Community Mobilizer).
