NYK Kargil organizes District-level Declamation Contest.
Kargil, Jan 10: Nehru Yuva Kendra Kargil, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India, today organized a District-level Declamation Contest with the theme “MYBharat-Viksit Bharat@2047: By the Youth, For the Youth,” at Ladakh Academy of Art, Culture and Language Hall, Kargil.
The District Youth Officer, Jigmat Spaldon extended a warm welcome to all attendees and briefed about the program. In her address, she emphasized the crucial role of youth in achieving the goal of a developed Bharat, and highlighted the necessity of their active involvement in the nation’s development.
Distinguished jury members for the event comprised Coordinator Culture, SAMAGRAH Education Department, Syed Sajjad, Women Scientist, KVK Kargil Dr. Rinchen Dolkar; and Assistant Professor, Syed Mustafa.
Over 50 enthusiastic youth from Kargil district passionately shared insightful visions and ideas for a developed Bharat in a dynamic and engaging exchange.
The event concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, in which the position holders were honoured with momentos and certificates of appreciation.
Zahra Batool of Poyen won the first prize, Zareena Khanam’s team Stringmo secured the second, and Shehnaz Fatima from Umba Sankoo, emerged as the third prize winner.
Nasreen Fatima Quarishi conducted the program proceedings. The jury members also took the opportunity to share their valuable thoughts during the event. The district-level winner will participate virtually in the coming State Level Competition.
