Officials visit proposed site for developing heliport at Zanskar

KARGIL, AUGUST 03, 2022:

In order to develop a heliport in Zanskar Sub Division, Captain TK Singh, Architect Javid Akbar and Bara Siddiqi, AEE Thinles Zangpo, Civil Engineer Zeeshan today visited Padum Zanskar.

Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar Sonam Dorjay, Exen R&B, AEE and JE R&B received the visitors at civil helipad Padum Zanskar.

The visitors visited the proposed site at Ufti for survey for developing the heliport and also inspected the side land available of civil helipad Padum.

During the visit, they directed the SDM and concerned Exen to not allow any kind of construction at the direction of landing and take-off positions.

He also directed the architect to construct a fire fighting and passenger terminal, waiting Hall and washrooms at civil helipad Padum Zanskar.
