    PM Shri Govt Middle School Doks Chutumail celebrates annual day.
    Kargil, Dec 05, 2024: PM Shri Govt Middle School Doks Chutumail celebrated its annual day with great enthusiasm and joy. The program proceedings were conducted by Ahmad Ali while Headmaster Mohd Hussain delivered welcome speech to the distinguished guests.
    Executive Councillor for Tourism and Urban Development/Revenue Department, Kacho Mohd Feroz, graced the occasion as the chief guest. Deputy Commissioner Kargil, Shrikant Balasaheb Suse was guest of honour. The event was further honored by the presence of several special guests, including Chief Education Officer Kargil, S. D. Namgyal, District Youth and Sports Officer Kargil, Abid, Block Development Officer Sodh, T. Wangchuk, Zonal Education Officer Kargil, Mohd Mussa, Principal Higher Secondary School Akchamal, Principal Higher Secondary School Yourbaltak, HM MS Yourbaltak, HM MS Styangs Chutumail, HM GMS Yourbaltak and CHO Chutumail.
    The SMDC members, VEC members, parents of the students, and villagers of Doks Chutumail also joined the program, making it a grand celebration.
    During the event, the Village Education Committee (VEC) presented a memorandum highlighting key issues and demands for the school including drinking water supply, extension of playground, complete compound walling, proper electricity connection, land demarcation and registration, sanctioning of posts, increase in staff strength, multi-purpose hall etc.
    Deputy Commissioner Kargil assured the school and VEC members that all genuine demands would be fulfilled and included in the next year’s work plan in the CAPEX budget.
    EC Kacho Mohd Feroz also assured that the genuine demands would be addressed in due time. Councillor Yourbaltak Manzoor ul Hussain assured that the demands within his capacity would be fulfilled.
    CEO Kargil and ZEO Kargil appreciated the civil works done under the PM Shri Scheme and the MDM kitchen under the SAMAGRA Scheme. They were satisfied with the performance of the class 8th students, who secured 1st, 2nd, and 3rd positions at the Complex Head Level, and a class 5th student who secured 2nd position at the same level. The school also excelled in other curricular and co-curricular activities at zonal and district levels.
    Students presented various cultural, educational, art, and sports programs during the celebration, showcasing their talents and enthusiasm. Prizes, mementos, and appreciation certificates were distributed among the meritorious students by the esteemed dignitaries.
    Kulsum Banoo of Class 7th was declared the winner of student of the Year 2024. An appreciation certificate was also presented to Contractor Murtaza Ali for his excellent performance in executing civil works for the school.
    The dignitaries appreciated the efforts of the staff and the work culture of the school. The event concluded with a vote of thanks presented by VEC member Mohd, expressing gratitude to all the guests for their support and participation.
