Principal District & Session Judge Kargil reviews construction of Court Complex, Residential Quarter in Zanskar.

Kargil, July 25, 2023:
Principal District & Session Judge, Kargil, Iqbal Ahmad Masoodi on Monday visited Zanskar Sub Division to review construction of Court Complex and Residential Quarter.
Worthy Principal District & Session Judge Kargil chaired a meeting in Conference Hall TRC Zanskar which was attended by Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay, Assistant Public Prosecutor (APP) Munsiff Court Zanskar, Advocate Lobzang Galak, Station House Officer, Zanskar, Inspector Dorjay Gyalchan and Engineers of Executing Agency R&B Zanskar.
He was informed that the construction works is already tendered at a cost of Rs 12 cr and work is in full swing. He added that Rs 10 cr for construction of compound walling is under tendering process.
He also inspected sites of construction and was satisfied with the work progress. Worthy Principal District & Session Judge Kargil also visited the Munsiff Court Complex and interacted with the court employees.
Later, he also visited Govt. Higher Secondary School, Padum where an awareness camp on “Beti Bachao Beti Badao” was held. He also visited Stongday Monastery and interacted with the monks.
