Rigzin Deldan, Gonpo Dhundup, Sachetan Jalan call on Hon’ble Lt Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd).

Leh, August 02, 2023: A delegation of Ladakh Football Association led by its President, Sh. Rigzin Deldan called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) at Raj Niwas. Secretary, Sports, Ladakh Shri Ravinder Kumar, IAS was also present in the meeting.
Sh. Deldan apprised the HLG about LG Cup Super League 2023 which is recently held in Leh and organising the league in Kargil. He requested HLG’s intervention to early dispose of bomb shells at surroundings of Football Astroturf, Khurbathang Kargil and its adjoining areas for possible to organise the tournament in Kargil. He also informed the HLG about organise the Ladakh Futsal League in Kargil and requested the HLG for assistance and support to organise the event.
The HLG directed GOC, 8 Mountain Div for early clearance of the Astroturf and its surroundings with consultation with the village representative, civil and police administration. The HLG also directed Secretary, Sports, Ladakh for possible support to organise the tournament.
President, Tibetan Youth Congress, Sh. Gonpo Dhondup called on the HLG at Raj Niwas. Shri Dhondup apprised the HLG about the 53rd Tibetan Youth Congress Annual Working Committee Meeting, where near about 150 delegates from the regional chapters in India, Nepal, and Bhutan were participating. He invited the HLG to attend the opening ceremony of the Tibetan Youth Congress, 53rd Annual Working Committee Meeting, on 7th August 2023 at Sonamling Hall. Leh.
The HLG congratulated Shri Dhondup for organising 53rd Annual Working Committee Meeting in Ladakh.
Program Director, World Forum for Arts & Culture, Sh. Sachetan Jalan called on HLG at Raj Niwas.
Sh. Jalan apprised the HLG about the 15 days program “Har Ghar Yoddha” being organised by the organisation in association with University of Ladakh, Fire and Fury Corps and LAHDC Leh at University of Ladakh. He requested the HLG to attend the closing ceremony of the event as chief guest. The HLG appreciated their initiative and assured to attend the closing session.
