Sankoo Campus, GDC Kargil celebrates International Youth Day, launches intensified IEC campaign for HIV/AIDS Awareness.
Kargil, August 13, 2024: Sankoo Campus, Government Degree College Kargil today celebrated International Youth Day-2024 and launched an intensified IEC Campaign for HIV/AIDS Awareness in collaboration with Jammu and Kashmir AIDS Control Society and Higher Education Department, UT Ladakh.
The Red Ribbon Committee, Culture and Seminar Committee of the college campus organized multiple events such as competition on ‘Short Messages on HIV/AIDS’ and both men’s and women’s volleyball matches.
The International Youth Day program commenced with the National Anthem and witnessed an impressive number of participants in both the activities, while the college students, teaching and non-teaching staff boosted their morale as spectators and cheerleaders. Certificates were distributed to the winners and runner ups as well as participants.
