Kargil, October 08, 2024: The Department of EVS and English, Sankoo Campus, Government Degree College, Kargil today organized a cleanliness drive to educate students about the importance of a clean environment.
The event aimed to promote a clean and healthy environment while instilling a sense of responsibility in students towards maintaining unsoiled surroundings.
The campaign was organized to educate students about community engagement, waste management, and the importance of maintaining a litter-free environment. This initiative not only promotes a healthier physical environment but also enhances public health and fosters community spirit.
Students from the 1st, 3rd, and 5th Semesters actively participated in the cleanliness drive, working collaboratively in both the Arts and Science Blocks of the college campus. They were provided with gloves and garbage bags to collect trash effectively.
