SDM Drass stresses on uninterrupted facilities during Muharram.
Kargil, July 11, 2024: Sub Divisional Magistrate Drass, Vishal Atri today chaired a meeting regarding the preparations for the upcoming Muharramand directed the concerned officers to provide uninterrupted facilities.
During the meeting directions were passed to all concerned departments to provide the best possible services during Muharram.
BMO Drass was directed to provide all first aid facilities along with ambulances during the Muharram processions. Officials of the PHE Department were directed to provide water tankers and ensure regular supply of water during the Muharram.
The PDD Department was directed to ensure regular supply of electricity and the FCS&CA Department was directed to provide Tabaruk material during the Muharram.
SHO P/S Drass was also asked to ensure adequate security while the R & B Department was directed to do line marking on the road. Further all Imams ensured full cooperation and ensured that Muharram procession shall be held in a peaceful manner.
