SDM Sharkar Chiktan chairs review of ongoing developmental works.

Kargil, Sep 27, 2023: Sub Divisional Magistrate, Shakar Chiktan, Abdul Gaffer Zargar today chaired a review meeting of Sub Divisional Officers, focusing on evaluation of ongoing development projects, including Central Sponsored Schemes, other developmental initiatives and Education Sector.
The SDM took a comprehensive overview of the developmental profile of the Sub Division. He reviewed the physical and financial accomplishments under District Capex, SDP, and updates on the major projects underway under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme.
Regarding Education Sector, the meeting discussed the need to increase the enrolment in government schools of the Sub Division and improve quality education.
Emphasizing the importance of timely completion of the ongoing works, the SDM focussed on prioritizing the projects underway so that timely completion of these works is ensured.
The SDM called upon all departments to adopt a public-friendly approach and directed them to underscore the importance of digital penetration across the Sub Division.
