SDM Zanskar chairs meeting to discuss Independence Day preparations.

Kargil, August 02, 2023: Sub-Divisional Magistrate Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay, today chaired a meeting at the Conference Hall of Tourist Dak Bungalow in Padum to discuss Independence Day preparations within the Sub-Division.
After a comprehensive discussion, a unanimous decision was taken to hold the Independence Day celebration at the Sports Stadium in Padum.
The Chief Guest will raise the National Flag at 10 a.m., followed by participation from Ladakh Police, NCC, Government, and Private Institutions in the march past. Additionally, cultural programs are scheduled to take place. A complete dress rehearsal is slated for August 13, 2023.
Several committees were constituted to oversee arrangements for the Independence Day celebration. The SDM urged all officers to ensure active participation of their subordinates in the national event. The meeting was attended by officers from across the Sub-Division.
