SDM Zanskar chairs review meeting with NHIDCL, FCS&CA, Mechanical Department.

Kargil, Oct 16, 2023: Sub-Divisional Magistrate, Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay today chaired a review meeting with NHIDCL to review the winter preparedness and logistic arrangements ahead of the winter season in Zanskar.
During the meeting, NHIDCL informed that it has given snow clearance works to contactor EIM SIM BABA PKG -07 works from Penzela to Skygyam and contactor Satish Agarwal of PKG-08 works from Skygam to Padum.
The NHIDCL successfully completed the deployments of machinery and snow-related equipment well in time.
Later, the SDM also chaired meeting with FCS&CA Department and Mechanical Department in Zanskar.
During the meeting Rice, Atta, Sugar and Kerosene Oil have been stocked and similar qualities of items would be received by the FCS&CA Department.
The meeting also reviewed other arrangements including the availability of diesel for winter in the sub division.
