Secy Power Ladakh reviews State Plan (CAPEX), ongoing SDP 2021-22 works of PDD

Leh, April 28: Ravinder Kumar, Secretary, Power & NRE Department, convened a meeting with the Chief Engineer, Distribution / Generation and Chief Project Engineer, Civil Wing to review the status of works to be taken under the State Plan (CAPEX) and ongoing SDP 2021-22.
All the Divisional Officers appraised the Secretary of their action plan of the works approved in the budget for FY 2021-22.
Secretary Ravinder Kumar directed the concerned officials to complete all purchase/procurement works in the first quarter. He informed that all activities should be planned with contingencies so that the execution of the work does not suffer and is completed on time in the prevailing Covid situation. He further stressed that the quality of the work should not be compromised and directed all the officers to supervise the work for quality and time.
Secretary Ravinder impressed upon all the Power Department offices to complete the tendering of all works in May /June for timely completion.
GA Mir, Chief Engineer, Distribution / Generation and Nissar Chief Project Engineer, Civil Wing, Tsewang Paljor Superintending Engineer Distribution Circle, Executive Engineer Electric Distribution Division Leh and Kargil, Executive Engineer Sub Transmission Division Leh and Kargil, Executive Engineer Civil Division I & II and Geological Division Kargil were in the meeting. Officers from Kargil joined the meeting virtually.
