Secy Power & NRE Ladakh discuss issues regarding development of renewable energy

Leh, Sept 16: Secretary, Power and Renewable Energy, Ravinder Kumar, UT Ladakh, convened meeting with various agencies regarding development of renewable energy sector in the Union Territory of Ladakh at Ladakh Bhavan, New Delhi.
Secretary held a meeting with NTPC regarding development of green hydrogen mobility project and development of road map for hydrogen fuel in Ladakh. Also, the secretary held a meeting with Ernst and Young agency who is working with NITI Aayog to support solar projects on Public-private partnership (PPP) mode in UT of Ladakh.
Later, a meeting was held with CESL regarding development of a 5MW solar power plant at Zanskar. Further, the Secretary also met with the Joint Secretary, MNRE Solar regarding various pending issues of LREDA and KREDA
