SHA, ABDM jointly organize essay competition under Ayushman Pakhwada in Kargil.
Kargil, Sept 23, 2024: To commemorate the 6th anniversary of Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and the 3rd anniversary of Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission (ABDM), State Health Agency (SHA), Ladakh, in collaboration with ABDM Ladakh today organized an essay competition as part of Ayushman Pakhwada at Boys Higher Secondary School, Baroo, Kargil.
Students of various schools including HS Baroo, HS Minjee, HS Poyen, HS Goma Kargil, Girls HSS Kargil, Boys HSS Kargil and HSS Chanigond took part in the essay competition.
The program was aimed to encourage students to express their thoughts on how AB-PMJAY and ABDM have impacted families and promotes access to quality health care services. Ayushman Pakhwada commenced on September 20th and will continue until September 30th, 2024.
Meanwhile, on the anniversary day, Ayushman Card creation camps and Ayushman Chuapal/Sabhas were organized at block headquarters to spread awareness about AB-PMJAY and ABDM among the general public through healthcare workers by engaging local village representatives.
Mohadisa Batool from GMH School Goma Kargil secured 1st position in the essay competition, while Sadia Bilques from Govt. Girls Higher Secondary School Kargil bagged 2nd position and Fatima Nissa from the same school took 3rd position. The winners were awarded mementos of appreciation.
