Stage 1 of 5-day training to SLMTs held in Leh.

Leh, June 12: Chief Election Officer, Leh organised a five-day training program for the State Level Masters Trainers (SLMTs) on preparedness for the upcoming General Election to Lok Sabha 2024 held today at Video Conferencing Room, DC Office Leh.
Under the 1st stage of training, various topics/aspects of elections were briefed by master trainer Mohd Hadi, Principal, GHHS Trespone Kargil. The topics included, Qualification and Disqualification, Scrutiny and Withdrawal, Nomination and Allotment of Symbol.
The officers present were, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, Leh, Dr. Tundup Namgail, and SVP, I/C VAS LDO, Dr. Tsewang Morup. Officials from District Election Leh were also present.
