DDMA Chairman convenes meeting with district surveillance staff

Leh, April 12: Chairman, District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Leh, Shrikant Suse, today chaired a meeting with the district surveillance staff at the DC Conference Hall.
DDMA Chairman, Shrikant Suse, was informed of the various arrangements made for Covid-19 testing and surveillance. He directed the officials to strictly enforce the Covid-19 testing and surveillance mechanisms in the wake of the increasing number of Covid-19 cases in Leh district. DDMA Chairman, Shrikant Suse, exhorted the officers to take strict action against violators and adherence to the Covid-19 safety protocols in all isolation and quarantine centres effectively. He also impressed upon the village surveillance teams to increase their vigilance regarding the Covid-19 cases.
DDMA Chairman, Shrikant Suse, directed the in-charge Covid Surveillance Officer, Leh, to prepare a format for the submission of daily reports of surveillance tasks and share among the surveillance enforcers. He also directed the officials to apprise him of their issues or grievances while performing their duties. He urged the officials to carry out their duties diligently and cautiously and sensitise the locals about following the Covid Appropriate Behaviour (CAB).
