The District Election Office Leh organised an awareness camp under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation.

Leh, Nov.11, 2023: The District Election Office Leh organised an awareness camp under Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) at Govt. Girls Higher secondary school Leh, today.
Systematic Voters Education and Electoral Participation (SVEEP) Nodal Officer, Tajamul Ara briefed the students about SVEEP and explained about how and when to enroll in the voter list. She also requested students above 18 years to enrol themselves in electoral rolls after 01-01-2024.
Further, State SVEEP Nodal Officer, Dr. Tsewang Morup brifed about the Election Commission of India and its electoral process in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. He also highlighted the importance of SVEEP and motivates students to cast their vote in upcoming elections. He also advised students to spread awareness about SVEEP and special camps among their family members and friends.
Election Naib Tehsildar, Leh, Principal Govt.Girls Higher Secondary School, Leh and students were present during the awareness camp.
