    The Hon’ble Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh, Tashi Gyalson, conducted a one-day visit to Dibring village in the Changthang region.

    Leh, Aug 14: The Hon’ble Chairman/Chief Executive Councillor of the Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC) Leh, Tashi Gyalson, conducted a one-day visit to Dibring village in the Changthang region on Aug 12. He was accompanied by Secretary Power, Vikram Singh Malik, Deputy Commissioner/CEO LAHDC Leh, Santosh Sukhadeve, and Senior Superintendent of Police, Shruti Arora.
    The primary objective of the visit was to engage with key stakeholders regarding the proposed 13 GW Solar Power Project at Dibring, Pang, in the Changthang region. This ambitious project is aimed at sustainable energy development, potentially transforming the region into a leader in renewable energy production.
    Hon’ble Councillor, korzok Constituency, Karma Namdak; Chief Engineer, PDD, Tsewang Paljor; Assistant Commissioner, Revenue Leh, SDM, Nyoma, Senior General Manager PGCIL, Representative from MNRE and all the concerned HoDs were present during the visits.
    During the tour, H’CEC Gyalson convened a meeting with the concerned stakeholders including local community and had a detailed discussion on the 13 GW Solar Power Project at Dibring, Pang. He emphasized the benefits these projects would bring to the region.
    CEC Gyalson also visited the villages and proposed sites to personally assess the location and to check all the pertaining issues and developmental work of the area. All the villagers of Changthang region accorded warm welcomes to all the officials.
    In addition to that, H’CEC visits Samad village and interacted with the public gatherings and gave a patient hearing to all the issues put forth by the villagers.
    Assessing the grievances raised by the villagers, H’CEC instructed all the concerned officials to look into the matter and further assured his assistance to address the demands.
