Tourism Dept. Kargil organizes cleanliness-cum-awareness drive at Hunderman village.

Kargil, July 05, 2023: Tourism Department Kargil today organized a cleanliness-cum-awareness drive under the MoT’s mission “Travel for Life for Tourism “ with the theme of current week “waste reduction “ at LoC village Hundurman.
Assistant Director Tourism Kargil, ATO Kargil, Tourism Stakeholders, local residents and employees of Tourism Department participated in the drive.
While speaking on the occasion, the ADT Kargil said that series of events shall be organized by the Department every week with different themes and objectives at different locations in the District.
He enjoined upon the local people to join hands in promoting sustainable and eco-friendly tourism by ensuring reduction of waste and garbage and to keep their localities clean.
Meanwhile, the employees and local people collected a huge quantity of waste from the village and handed it over to Municipal Committee for proper disposal.
