Training program for BLOs on SSR-2024 held in Zanskar.

Kargil, July 08, 2023: On the direction of District Election Officer Kargil, Tehsildar (AERO) Assistant Electoral Registration Officer, Zanskar organized one-day training program for Booth Level Officers (BLOS) of Zanskar Subdivision on July 03, 2023 in connection with Special Summary Revision (SSR)-2024 at Tourist Dak Bunglow, Padum, Zanskar.
Speaking on the occasion, Sub Divisional Magistrate Zanskar, Sonam Dorjay stressed on the ECI theme of “No Voters to be left behind” during SSR activities and focussed on the preparation of a healthy electoral roll to the BLOs and also directed not to miss a single house during house-to-house verification which is beginning from 21.07.2023 and will continue up to 21.08.2023 as per the ECI direction and guidelines.
Regarding the rationalization of Polling Stations, AERO directed the BLOs to take consent from local representatives of the villages. Four Supervisors, 48 BLOs and officials of the Tehsildar Office Zanskar attended the training.
