UT Ladakh reports twenty-one new Covid-19 positive cases Eighteen patients cured and discharged

Leh, Aug 08: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, twenty-one new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday.
While a total of 285 sample reports were tested in UT Ladakh 217 sample reports in Leh and 47 sample reports in Kargil were found to be negative. The bulletin further informs that eighteen patients were cured and discharged, out of which 15 were discharged by CMO Leh and 3 were discharged by CMO Kargil. UT Ladakh received 21 positive samples, all were received by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh is, 113 out of which 103 active cases are in Leh district and 10 active cases are in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 2642 passengers were screened at the KBR, Leh airport while 314 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse and 41 passengers were screened at Upshi Check post today
