Various delegations call on Hon’ble Lt Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd) on last day of his tour to Zanskar -division.

Kargil, Aug 29, 2023: President, All Zanskar Student Association, Shri Tenzin Tsedup, called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), at Tourist Reception Centre (TRC), Padum in Zanskar.
Shri Tsedup apprised the HLG of various issues, viz. the early recruitment of vacant posts in various government departments; establishment of Ladakh Public Service Commision and granting district status for Zanskar sub-division, etc.
The HLG started that the Administration is working to resolve the recruitment-related issues and the vacant posts will be filled on a priority basis.
A delegation of Dental Surgeons called on the HLG at TRC Padum. The delegates requested the HLG to extend their services and adjust them under National Health Mission (NHM).
The HLG directed Director Health Services, Ladakh to examine their case.
The Headmaster of Government High School, Tangsoo called on the HLG and requested him to fill up the vacant teaching and non-teaching posts at the school. He also requested to provide central heating system for the school for the ease and convenience of students during the winter months.
The HLG assured him to provide all possible assistance in this regard.
A delegation comprising Community Information Centre (CIC) operators called on HLG at TRC Padum.
The deeksha requested the HLG for enhancement of their salaries.
The HLG directed Secretary, Rural Development Department, Ladakh, to examine their case.
Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, Shri Shrikant Suse, IAS; Sub Divisional Magistrate, Zanskar, Shri Sonam Dojay, Dy SP, DAR, Kargil, Shri Stanzin were present in the meeting.
