VC University of Ladakh visits Leh Campus at Taru Lays foundation of main gate, inaugurates Zoology & Chemist labs
Leh, May 20: Vice-Chancellor, University of Ladakh, Chhewang Phunsog, IAS (Retd.), today visited the Leh Campus of the University of Ladakh at Taru.
The Vice-Chancellor discussed the execution of various works in the Campus and Elite Consultancy with the Central Public Works Department (CPWD) engineers.
VC Chhewang Phunsog also laid the foundation stone of the main gate of the University Campus and inaugurated the laboratories of the Departments of Zoology and Geology. He flagged off two newly acquired buses for the Campus.
VC Chhewang Phunsog inaugurated the volleyball and handball courts and initiated the plantation drive.
He appreciated the efforts of the Rector and Deputy Rector of the Campus for transforming the Campus. He also interacted with the staff of the Campus.
Registrar Imteeaz Kacho, Dean of Academic Affairs, Deskyong Namgyal and Assistant Registrar Nawang Tundup accompanied VC Chhewang Phunsog during the visit.
