    Vice President from YUVA Healthcare, officials from Ekam Satt Foundation call on Hon’ble Lt Governor Brig (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd).
    Leh, July 02, 2024: Vice President Operations & Projects at YUVA Healthcare, Smt Puja Yadav called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), at the Lieutenant Governor’s Secretariat. Commissioner/Secretary to the HLG, Shri L Franklin, IAS and Director Health Services, Dr Motup Dorje, were present in the meeting.
    Smt Puja informed the HLG that YUVA Healthcare is an advanced skilling institute striving to elevate the quality of healthcare delivery by providing requisite skills to the Nursing and Allied Health professionals in the medical simulation centre to prepare them for the workplace. She also informed that Yuva Healthcare, in technical collaboration with Partners Medical International, has designed nursing education programmes, pedagogical principles, overall course structure and evaluation methodology. She further informed that YUVA Healthcare has tied up with TISS –SVE for paramedical programmes.
    Smt Puja shared the proposal to establish an advanced simulation laboratory at the University of Ladakh Medical College at an estimated cost of Rs 3.5 crores keeping in mind the need for healthcare for the people of Ladakh.
    The HLG appreciated Smt Puja for sharing the proposal and asked her to share the proposal with Commissioner/Secretary, Health so that the proposal can be properly examined.
    A delegation from Ekam Satt Foundation led by Shri Ameya Dabli called on the Hon’ble Lieutenant Governor of Ladakh, Brigadier (Dr) BD Mishra (Retd), at the LG Secretariat. Advisor to the HLG, Dr Pawan Kotwal, IAS and Commissioner/Secretary to the HLG, Shri L Franklin, IAS were present in the meeting.
    Shri Dabli informed the HLG about the Foundation’s works in social activities, particularly in education and health; extending financial help to poor and needy for education and medical relief along with giving aid to deserving students & artists. He also informed about Ekam Satt – Mission For Nation initiative, which includes workshops on mental well-being and awareness on mental health issues, spreading value education amongst children and youth, and teaching about India’s culture through various performing arts. He informed about the Foundation’s desire to do something for the people of Ladakh for nation-building.
    The HLG stated that the UT Ladakh Administration has no role in this regard.
