    Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held at Barchey, Apati Panchayats.

    Kargil, Dec 11: As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a program was organized today at Barchey and Apati Panchayats, in Block Sodh.
    BDC Sodh Zakir Hussain, BDO Sodh/Day Nodal Officer, Mukhtar Ali, Sarpanches, Panches, officials from different departments including Agriculture, RD&PRD, Health, Social Welfare, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs, Handloom, Fisheries, Cooperative Societies, NRLM along with representatives from various other line departments participated in the event.
    During the event, the officers interacted and reached out to the citizens eligible under various welfare schemes, disseminating information and fostering awareness about the government-sponsored public-centric schemes.
    Experts from different departments and institutions including agriculture, horticulture, ICDS, Health, Social Welfare, NRLM, Handloom, etc. conducted interactive sessions with the locals wherein they were informed about the procedures to avail these welfare schemes.
    At the event, RD&PRD updated 16 Aadhaar Cards in Barchey and 10 Aadhaar Cards in Apati, ensuring accurate and current information for the beneficiaries.
    During the health camp at Barchey, screening for NCDs was performed on 24 individuals, and diabetes checks for 24 people. Additionally, 22 ABHA IDs and 2 Ayushman Cards were processed, 4 HB check-ups were conducted, and 28 individuals were attended the OPD
    In Apati’s health camp, NCD screening was administered to 10 individuals, with BP check-ups for the same number. Additionally, 7 ABHA Cards were linked, and 8 Ayushman Cards were successfully generated.
    The health camp was aimed to identify and address health issues and promote preventive health care. The initiative prioritized providing medical care and treatment to those unable to afford it, reflecting a commitment to accessible healthcare for all.
    During the program, officials of the Health Department briefed the general public about the goal of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and underlined its mission. They were also briefed about healthcare schemes. The camp witnessed huge participation of the people.
