Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held at Faroona, Thasgam-A Panchayats.
Kargil, Dec 11: As part of the ongoing Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY), a program was organized today at Faroona and Thasgam-A Panchayats, in Block Sankoo.
BDC Sankoo, Akhone Mehdi, BDO Sankoo/Day Nodal Officer, Kaneez Fatima, Councilor Saliskote Mohd Sajjad, Sarpanches, Panches, officials from diverse departments, including Agriculture, RD&PRD, Health, Social Welfare, Food and Supplies, Handloom, Fisheries, Cooperative Societies, NRLM along with representatives from various other line departments took part in the event.
During the event, the officers interacted and reached out to the citizens eligible under various welfare schemes, disseminating information and fostering awareness about the government-sponsored public-centric schemes.
Officials from different departments held interactive sessions with the locals wherein they were informed about the procedures to avail these welfare schemes.
At Faroona’s health camp, 20 individuals underwent NCD screening, 19 lab tests were conducted, and 10 Ayushman cards, 21 ABHA cards, and 2 new Aadhaar cards were generated. Additionally, 12 Aadhaar cards were updated.
During the health camp at Panchayat Thasgam-A, 15 individuals attended the OPD, 10 were screened for NCD, and 9 lab tests were conducted. Additionally, 6 Ayushman Bharat Cards, 4 ABHA Cards, 20 Aadhaar Cards were updated, and 4 new Aadhaar Cards were generated.
During the program, officials of the Health Department briefed the general public about the goal of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and underlined its mission. They were also briefed about healthcare schemes. The camp witnessed huge participation of the people.
