    Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra held at Yukma Minji, Choskore Panchayats of Kargil Block.

    Kargil, Dec 20: To ensure saturation of flagship schemes of the government, the Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra camp was held today at Yukma Minji and Choskore Panchayats of Kargil Block.
    Councilors, Sarpanches, Panches, officials from diverse departments, including Agriculture, RD&PRD, Health, Handloom, PHE, Horticulture, Social Welfare, ICDS, along with representatives from various other line departments, actively participated in the event.
    The program was held under the supervision of BDO/Day Nodal Officer, Samina Khatoon besides Councilor Baroo Minji, Advocate Khadim Hussain was also present during the occasion. Besides Dr Lily Gangmei, from Central Leprosy Division, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare GOI, also visited the Sankalp Yatra and Yukma Minji.
    On the occasion, locals enthusiastically listened to the recorded message from the Prime Minister of India regarding the campaign.
    At the event, the villagers were comprehensively briefed on an array of beneficiary-oriented schemes meticulously crafted to uplift and improve the quality of their lives.
    The camp also focused on Jal Jeevan Mission initiatives, offering guidance and support to mitigate water-related challenges in the region. One of the aspects of the event was the provision of direct beneficiary-oriented
    benefits to the villagers on the spot.
    Besides others, the other departments also informed the people about beneficiary-oriented schemes. This included the distribution of various benefits and resources designed to uplift the community and improve their quality of life.
    The IEC Van is equipped with multimedia resources, expert speakers, and interactive sessions to engage and educate people about the benefits and application procedures of these schemes.
    Experts from different departments and institutions including agriculture, horticulture, health, handloom etc , held interactive sessions with the locals wherein they were informed about the procedures to avail these welfare schemes.
    During the programme at Choskore 2 new and 23 Aadhar cards were updated, 18 Ayushman Cards were issued, 28 e-KYCs and 9 Ayushman cards were generated.
    At Yukma Minji 2 new and 7 Aadhar cards were updated, total 20 people were seen in OPD, 10 Ayushman card, 7 ABHA Cards were issued. 20 people were screened for NCD, TB screening was done on 20 individuals and 20 were screened for BP.
    During the program, officials of the Health Department briefed the general public about the goal of Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra and underlined its mission. They were also briefed about healthcare schemes. The camp witnessed huge participation of the people.
    The officials expressed gratitude to the participants for their enthusiastic involvement. The Viksit Bharat pledge was also taken by the officials and participants at the Panchayat.
