World Ozone Day celebrated in Kargil Forest Division.

Kargil, Sep 16, 2023: World Ozone Day was celebrated today in Kargil Forest Division at Rgyal Khatoon Park, Baimathang, Kargil in which 30 students from different schools of Kargil participated in drawing and painting competition.
Sajida Batool of Munshi Habibullah School Kargil, Riyaz-ul-Hussainin of Muthahari Public School Kargil and Mehak Fatima of Munsi Habibullah School Kargil got the 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions respectively. Besides consolation prizes were distributed among the students who participated in the drawing /painting competitions.
Divisional Forest Officer Kargil, Range Officer Kargil, Prof. Ali Shabir and Prof. Mumtaz Ahmad of GDC Drass, teachers of various schools and staff of Kargil Forest Range were also present.
A cleanliness drive was also conducted at Rgyal Khatoon Park in collaboration with the Municipal Committee Kargil.
The World Ozone Day was also organized by the Forest Division Kargil in collaboration with GMDC Zanskar in which around 60 students participated.
Debate and painting/drawing competition were also organized in which students from different schools of Zanskar Sub Division and GMDC Zanskar participated.
Prizes and certificates were distributed among the students who got 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions in debate and drawing/painting competition. Vice Principal, GMDC Zanskar, Range Officer, Zanskar and faculty members of the college were also present.
