Zila Sainik Welfare Office Kargil celebrates Air Force Day Conducts seminar on Independence of India, services and sacrifices of Defence Forces

KARGIL, OCTOBER, 08, 2021: As part of the series of events held under Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav, Zila Sainik Welfare Office Kargil organized a seminar on Independence of India and the services and sacrifices of Defence Forces since 1947 on the occasion of Air Force Day at Zila Sainik Welfare Office Kargil here today.
The event was aimed to pay tribute to the martyrs of freedom movement and defence forces for their services and sacrifices.
Ex-servicemen of the three services participated in the event.
Zila Sainik Welfare Officer Kargil Kacho Muhmmad Ali Khan while speaking on the occasion briefed about the Independence of India and services and sacrifices of defence forces since 1947 and appreciated the ex-servicemen for their selfless services rendered to the nation.
The ex-servicemen also spoke on the occasion and paid tributes to the martyrs of the Indian Army and also shared their experience of servicing in the Army.
Nissar Hussain, representative of Zila Sainik Welfare Office Kargil presented vote of thanks on the occasion.
