    1 death; 108 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 192 patients cured and discharged

    Leh, Apr 30: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh last night, a total of 108 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 90 reports were received by CMO Leh and 18 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
    With the death of one more patient from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 140; 96 in Leh and 44 in Kargil.
    The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 192 patients yesterday. All the patients were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 1597; 1482 in Leh district and 115 in Kargil district.
    The bulletin further informs that 473 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 53 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Wednesday.
