1 death; 250 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 136 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Apr 21: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 250 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 236 reports were received by CMO Leh and 14 positive sample reports were received by CMO Kargil.
With the death report of one more patient from Covid-19 reported by CMO Leh yesterday, the total number of deaths in UT Ladakh has reached 134; 90 in Leh and 44 in Kargil.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 136 patients yesterday. All the patients were discharged by CMO Leh. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has increased to 1812; 1730 in Leh district and 82 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1646 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 86 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltsi check post on Monday.
