13th Bn NDRF organizes school safety program in Kargil.

Kargil, August 08, 2023: A school safety program was conducted today at Government High School Poyen, Kargil and training program for UTDRF personnel at District Police Line Kargil, in which 13th Bn NDRF, Ludhiana imparted training on basic Disaster Management to the students, staff members of the school and police officers.
The program was conducted by 13th Bn NDRF, Ludhiana in collaboration with District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA), Kargil.
The training was imparted to students and police personnel by master trainer Gopal Singh and Divender Singh regarding first aid, bandaging, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), etc.
On the occasion, the officers of 13th Bn NDRF besides teaching, non-teaching staff of the higher secondary schools, DDMA officials, police officers, students also attended the program at two different locations.
The administration of Govt. High school and District Police Line lauded the efforts of the DDMA Kargil for organizing the program. They also thanked the 13th Bn NDRF Ludhiana for imparting training to students for enhancing the capacity of local community in future.
