16 new positive cases report in UT Ladakh; 53 patients cured and discharged

Leh, Jun 30: As per the media bulletin released by the Directorate of Health Services UT Ladakh, a total of 16 new positive sample reports of Covid-19 were received yesterday. Out of the total positive reports, 15 were reported in Leh and one in Kargil. While, a total of 3598 sample reports in UT Ladakh; Leh: 2499 and Kargil: 1099 were found negative yesterday.
No death from Covid-19 was reported in UT Ladakh yesterday.
The bulletin further details that UT Ladakh has discharged 53 patients yesterday. Out of which 50 patients were discharged in Leh and three in Kargil. With this, the total number of COVID-19 active cases in UT Ladakh has come down to 202; 144 in Leh and 58 in Kargil district.
The bulletin further informs that 1256 passengers were screened at KBR Airport Leh yesterday. While 295 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Khaltse check post yesterday and 861 passengers including the drivers and helpers of trucks, and light motor vehicles were screened at Upshi check post.
